What is every people group?
It is our desire that every people group in the world would be in the hearts and minds of those who are at Heart Cry Church. God has a global purpose for every tribe and tongue to worship Jesus Christ as Lord and Treasure.
How do I get involved with every people group?
Every people group is intertwined within the worship gathering and community groups. You can get involved by intentionally praying for the unreached nations through joshuaproject.net. You can also get involved by giving for local and global missions. Lastly, we send teams overseas during the summer and would love for the number of people going to increase.
Why do we focus on every people group?
Christ commanded us to make disciples of all nations and that is why we supremely focus on the world. With the understanding of how amazing the gospel is, it only makes sense to extend this grace to every single soul on the planet. We cannot afford ignoring the millions across the world who are dying without ever even hearing about Jesus.
What is expected of me?
A dedication to your local context by praying for your neighbor, friend, and co-worker to surrender to the name that is above every name. It is also expected to pray for nations around the world specifically. Lastly, to either pray for those on mission, go on the mission, and give to those who are on mission.
What is our plan of action?
We seek to give to those around the world that are in desperate need of grace and truth. We believe that a large part of that is to help end slavery around the world. There are more than 27 million slaves today, more than any other time in history, and this must be stopped now! There are multiple partners that we are continuing to join with in fighting against the oppression of the slave owners. We are seeking to give in 3 different categories:
Prevent – There are organizations that are Jesus-centered that seek to equip girls around the world on how to not wind up in sex slavery in the first place. We are continuing to join their campaign. http://www.thea21campaign.org/
Rescue – There is a rise of rescue operations around the world for those who are in the slave industry today. We are seeking to fuel those rescue operations by providing financially the means to fulfill such an operation. http://www.ijm.org/
Restore – Rescuing the slaves is only half the battle. Due to the oppression of drugs and brainwashing, many of them will run right back to slavery if they do not have help. They need to be provided for and spoken about Jesus once they are rescued. http://www.tinyhandsinternational.org/

We currently are contacting several areas around the world to help them in a hands on mission trip this summer.
